The Library Study Room policy can be reviewed at Montague Law Library Policies and Guidelines. Library Study Rooms are scheduled through 25Live, the official Penn State scheduling system. Please review access and reservation information below for LAW and SIA students. Reservations made in 25Live are publicly viewable and not private. For questions regarding access please contact PSDL IT.

Notes: The library has 7 study rooms that are ideal for collaborative group study, and 216 that is ideal for 1-2 student use. The library study room names default to a name that is a series of numbers, the last three are the room number in the library. To change this setting, click Options and move the Location Display Name from Name to Formal Name. This will change the display of the room to UP: Katz Bldg (Room Number) Library Group Study.

With the exception of the Library Study Rooms, seating throughout the library is available on a first-come first-served basis.
The Reading Room is reserved for quiet reading and research, so please do not hold conversations or do group work in this space. Similarly, conversations disrupt others' expectations of quiet study and research space. Conduct phone calls outside the library.
It is your responsibility to secure your personal items and valuables while working in the library. Personal or other items should not be left unattended for long periods "hold a seat." We will not watch items for you.
